What a whirl weekend this was!

Makeover Monday: Summer Romance Edition

My typical go to look is minimal or no makeup at all with a top knot. So flattering correct? When you don't have many places to go during the week it seems like it is my best option, I'm sure others can relate.

However, when I do wear makeup I tend to get various compliments. I have had several individuals ask me if I am a professional makeup artist. The truth is no. I have no professional training when applying makeup. I just practice and do a lot of trial and error. Seriously it is the best way to learn.

Today's look is more of a summer look with a sprinkle of romance! I love rocking that romantic look during the summer months.

Reflection

Today I wasn't really feeling the gym. So instead to make sure I stayed active I decided to go to the most beautiful local park for a walk/jog. I ended up clocking in 5.75 miles. During this time I had a lot of time to reflect on my life. I need this time to reflect. The beautiful water, trails, and nature helps me to really appreciate how wonderful this earth really is. I had nostalgia flashbacks when I was growing up as a child - to young adolescent - to young adult - to a woman, because with views like these how can you not let your mind wander to all the positive/happy moments in your life.

Introducing...

Hello! My name is Kelly and I am reintroducing myself to the blogging world. This blog has been a long time coming (seriously I have put it off for an entire year!). I am excited to start documenting my life through my little corner of the internet. A place I can create memories, and watch myself grow. This has been an extremely difficult year for me and my family. I tragically lost my Dad in March and I have realized that you can't take any moment in this life for granted. I want to live life gracefully and compassionately. We are only on this earth for a short amount of time, so you have to make it worth living. Remember to always pay it forward.
